Think you come with the o­ne-liners with the best of them? Submit your caption and be entered to win a Viking Pool Cue Retail valued at $300 - $400 and a 1-year subscription to InsidePOOL Magazine! Winners will posted o­n the homepage our InsidePOOL at the beginning of the month after the contest ends.   You can enter as often as o­ne time per day.  If you don't win this month, you can try again next month.  InsidePOOL Magazine and Viking Pool Cues will be holding a photo caption contest every month during 2005.       Photo Caption Contest Photo Caption Contest OFFICIAL RULES 1. Rules. No purchase necessary. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and decisions of the judges, which are final in all respects. 2. Entry. To enter, make up a caption for the photo posted under "Photo Caption Contest" o­n the InsidePOOL Magazine home page at www.insidepool.com/photo. Enter the competition by submitting your completed o­nline entry form (below) for the posted photo by Midnight June 30, 2005 EST. You may enter the contest daily, but each caption must be original, of entrant's own creation. Caption must not have been entered in any other competition or violate the rights of other parties. Caption may not be offensive or defamatory, as determined by the judges. Entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain-name search; in the event of dispute, e-mail entries will be deemed submitted by the owner of the e-mail address from which the e-mail was sent. All submissions become the property of InsidePOOL Magazine with all rights to copy, edit, broadcast, publish and use, in whole or in part, any caption, including all concepts copyrighted or copyrightable, in any manner without further consideration (except where prohibited by law). Entries will not be returned. 3. Eligibility. You must be a legal resident of the U.S. or Canada, (except for residents of Arizona), aged 18 years or older to be eligible. Employees of InsidePOOL Magazine and any other company/persons involved with this promotion, and all their respective immediate family and household members are not eligible. 4. Selection of Winners. Winner selection conducted InsidePOOL Magazine employees, whose decisions are final. You need not be present to win. Winning captions will be selected based o­n their originality/creativity, humor and appropriateness of subject matter to the image. 5. Award of Prize. o­ne prize winner will be awarded a Viking Cue Retail valued at $300/400 and a 1 year subscription to Insidepool. Current InsidePOOL Magazine subscribers will receive a o­ne year extension o­n their subscription to InsidePOOL Magazine In lieu of a new o­ne year subscription. No substitute prizes or cash will be awarded in lieu of the advertised prize, except that InsidePOOL Magazine may substitute prize of equivalent or greater value due to availability. Prize is not transferable. All taxes, interest and penalties, if any, o­n prize are the winner's sole responsibilitys. Odds of winning depend o­n the number of eligible entries received. 6. Notification and Claiming Prize. Entrant submitting the caption selected will be notified by telephone at contest completion. Winner will also be announced o­n www.insidepool.com. If a selected winner is unreachable or ineligible or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, that selected winner forfeits the prize and another winner will be selected. 7. No Liability. By participating, each entrant (i) releases, indemnifies and agrees to hold harmless InsidePOOL Magazine, and their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and agents, including advertising agencies, from and against all claims, liability, injury, or damages relating to the sweepstakes, any entry, or any prize or use thereof, whether or not known or suspected by him/her to exist in his/her favor at the time of the sweepstakes; and (ii) agrees that these entities are in no way responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relating to any entry or to any prize. InsidePOOL Magazine is not responsible for printing or input errors or for damaged, late, lost, illegible, incomplete, delayed, garbled, distorted, damaged, unintelligible, or misdirected entries; communications, software, hardware, or transmission failures of any kind regardless of cause; or any technical, human, or other error in the processing of entries. InsidePOOL Magazine is not liable for any injury or damages caused, whether directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any participation in this sweepstakes.
